The Cass Truckload Linehaul Index measures the market ebbs and flows in truckload rates measured on a per-mile-basis and removed additional cost elements such as fuel and accessorials. To quote our friends at Cass "The index isolates the linehaul component of full truckload costs from other components (e.g., fuel and accessorials), providing an accurate reflection of trends in baseline truckload prices."
